WebI'd also go for the Nova launcher - it's as close as you're going to get to vanilla Android in terms of looks without rooting, TWRP, etc. Basically the limitation on the 2024 Fire 8 is the ram - having only 2gb is really limiting. In fact I'd just do the trade in thing and get an 8+ (3gb of ram) or go all the way and get the 10+ (4gb of ram).
